Cooking up Florence with Viviana

• Four nights of lodging. Occupy one of two guest bedrooms in Viviana's private Florence townhouse. Each bedroom is air conditioned with its own adjacent bathroom. Rooms may be configured with a queen or two single beds.
• Three days of cooking classes, conducted in English. All materials and instructions provided.
• Four breakfasts, three lunches and four dinners, wines and beverages included.
• Two walking tours of Florence and one excursion into the Chianti countryside with transportation.

• Reach Viviana's home along the banks of the Arno looking across to the Uffizi Gallery and the Duomo. Welcome. Get settled and join Viviana for some Chianti with fellow guests. Relax. Viviana will cook for you tonight. Over dinner begin planning your upcoming cooking lessons taking your palate into consideration.

• After a hearty breakfast, Viviana leads you through Florence's bustling markets demonstrating how to select the freshest ingredients. Along the way, visit famous sights and some hidden gems, known only to lifelong residents. Lunch takes place at one of Viviana's favorite local trattorie. The afternoon is yours to explore Florence on your own or simply relax at home. At 5 PM, the preparation of the evening feast begins.

• After breakfast, Viviana escorts you to an ancient Chianti wine estate in the rolling hills of Tuscany to stock up for dinner. You will visit a Tuscan hill town and lunch in a locanda. Return to Florence in the afternoon with time to relax before gathering in the kitchen for class. Tonight, weather permitting, dinner is under the stars.

• After breakfast, Viviana introduces you some of Florence's most exclusive artisans. Whether it's touching the best linens on the planet, visiting the city's legendary perfumer, seeing delicate silks being made or exploring prestigious antique shops, Viviana's walking tour shows a side of Florence most visitors never see. Lunch at a trattoria favored by locals followed by some free time before heading home for the third class and your final feast.

• Breakfast & departure. (Perfect timing to embark on a Parker Villa Tuscany rental for the coming week armed with recipes, shopping tips and lots of insider knowledge.)
