  • Meet Salvatore a master sommelier at his lively wine bar in Foligno. Salvatore proudly selects the prosciutto, Italian cheeses and breads that are served as an appetizer.
  • Don an apron and prepare the lunch's main dish of gnocchi in a bolognese sauce. Gnocchi is an Italian pasta made from potatoes, wheat, flour and eggs.
  • Next, visit the underground grotto that serves as a wine cellar for a discussion on regional wine production.
  • Move to the wine bar and join Salvatore in a four-course luncheon feast you helped create.
  • Salvatore will conduct a tasting of three wines of the Grechetto, Montefalco and Sagrantino varieties. Dessert will be accompanied by a Sagrantino Passito dessert wine.
  • Should you decide to purchase a bottle or two from Salvatore's extensive wine collection, he will be on hand to assist with any questions.
